TCF Style Expo and Women in Auto Care Conferences in Photos

Going to two conferences in one week is exhausting for a regular person, but someone who has to plan all their outfits? It’s brutal. I wanted to showcase fashion, color and a bit of business chic so of course I reached out to Universal Standard, Curvy Sense and CoEdition. Because of them I headed off to Women in Auto Care and TCF Style Expo in style. Below you’ll get the journey of the conferences in outfits!

My first outfit was for Women in Auto Care. When Jill Trotta told me that I had to dress business casual I had no idea what that meant! Lots of clothing later I settled on these glorious wide leg pants and black blouse from Universal Standard. This outfit is super out of my comfort zone and that’s GOOD! I’m wearing a XL (26-28) petite since I have really short legs. The L (22-24) was too small on me, but once I sized up the belt helped make it work.

Polka dots are a lot time favorite, and I wanted to stand out. This black dots on white background did not fail to make a statement. keyexteriors.com I went all in with the white heels but later swapped them for some comfy Birkenstocks. I’m wearing a size 24 in this dress and their is definitely room. I love this dress with a bright red lip and a black fanny pack to further snitch my waist.

After Women in Auto Care I headed home for a quick overnight stayed and pack a whole new set of outfits! For the blogger mastermind I wore this showstopper tulip dress from CoEdition. With a softer halter neckline, the dress ties behind your neck for a classy yet super dramatic look. It’s the perfect length to wear with flat sandals comfortably without stepping on the dress.

There was a VIP mixer, so of course I had to pop in my room for an outfit change. This leopard print body-con dress from Curvy Sense was perfect. It’s super comfortable yet brings a sexy vibe perfect for a mixer. I sized down in this wanting a more skin tight fit. Use CHAYA20 to save money on your purchase from Curvy Sense.

On the first official day of the expo, I chose to wear this red jumpsuit from Curvy Sense. The cut outs make it flirty and fun but the power red makes it a piece most people won’t forget quickly. I wear red when I want to leave an impression and just feel confident. I fell between sizes in this so choose a 3x. It was a little tight but I didn’t find that a bad thing. Curvy Sense saves my readers money when you use CHAYA20 at checkout.

My final hurrah outfits for the second day of the expo was this soft feminine floral maxi dress from Anthropologie. I sized up an bought a size 24 in it which was perfect. Relaxed comfortable fit, I love floral like this that are full of colors. The tiered skirt moved beautiful and I enjoyed the waistband as well.

I learned so much from these conferences and dressing for them was so much fun! I highly encourage you to attend conferences in your chosen field. I can make energized, made connections with incredible changemakers and most importantly learned thing I hadn’t yet in my field. It makes me a better educator and the energy help me do so much more.
