How to Protect Your Car’s Cloth Seats AND the Monthly Wax Alternative

How to Protect Your Car’s Cloth Seats AND the Monthly Wax Alternative

– with 303 Detailing Products –

Since I’ve started using 303 detailing products by Golden Eagle to clean and protect my vehicle, I’ve noticed all kinds of little things that I wouldn’t have paid attention to before. For example: my rubber floor mats don’t cover every inch of the carpeting in my car.

That means that I still get residues of salt, snow melt, and dirt on the edges of my carpet. It looks dirty and over time, stains. I decided to work on cleaning my carpets, and then I wanted something that will prevent and protect them from staining in the future.

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with 303 Detailing Products. All opinions are my own.

Investing in Maintaining your Car

For the average consumer like us, our vehicle is the second largest investment – after our home, of course. Taking care of your vehicle, keeping the leather, fabric, plastic, and paint protected helps you protect this immense investment.

It’s a great way to both feel good about your car and ensure you’re not diminishing its value more than the natural depreciation. If you read my blog on the regular, you know I don’t waste my time on stuff that doesn’t create or preserve a good value.

Carpet and Cloth Seat Protection

303 Stain Guard is the perfect product for protecting your car’s interior. It’s safe for fabric seats, carpet, non-rubber floor mats, and any other fabric interior components. It’s not a cleaner – its job is simply to repel stains, caused by anything from spilled coffee to salt and dirt.

Stain Guard should be used after you’ve cleaned the carpet and fabric (and thoroughly dried, if you shampooed it). Spray on Stain Guard, then leave the car with the windows wide open for 12 – 24 hours. 303 recommends applying every month or so for the best results, which is easy to do since you can let it sit while you’re sleeping. saladsup.com

A Quick Alternative to the Monthly Wax

One of the products from 303 that really stood out to me is their Touchless Sealant.

I drive a Subaru, and it turns out that Subaru says you should wax the car every 30 days! How wild is that? Waxing can take hours and is a pretty tedious process. But I want to take great care of my baby. What to do?

The Touchless Sealant functions like a wax does – allowing you to protect your car AND save you loads of time. The best part about the product is that there is no futzing around involved. Spray on the product – then rinse the car off. That’s it!

The end result is protected paint and glass. It lasts twice as long as wax and will cause water to bead on contact, which I love.

303 detailing products by Golden Eagle are goods I actually use and believe in. If you have questions, check out their website where they have so much more detail about each product and specifics on how to use it.

I hope you’ve had fun learning about detailing with me and 303 the past few months. Teaching folks about how to take care of their cars is really important to me!
