Knowing when saying no to a service is not going to cause damage to your car and knowing when something should be taken care of.
Classes start at 9:00pm EST on the class dates. I go live and discuss and teach. You’ll be able to ask questions live. Miss something? No worries. Classes are recorded so you can go back and re-watch them afterwards.
Classes take place online in a private Facebook group. We meet via Facebook Live so you have the opportunity to ask questions during class, leave comments and re-watch once the class has finished.
Classes are held on a sliding scale. This is an effort to accommodate a range of budgets. Every class has it’s own rate, click on the class for details. Pick a price in this range that works for you. Choosing a higher rate, if you can, allows me to continue offering lower rates.

What students have to say
Really excellent information provided in an interesting and responsive format. I loved listening to Chaya speak and her depth of knowledge is clear. So generous to share it with the worldKelly Lenza
This was a great overview of basic car maintenance. Chaya is extremely knowledgeable about the topic and her presentation was clear and well organized. She encouraged questions and made everyone feel comfortable asking them, assuring us that there were no stupid questions. I can’t wait to take another class with herHella W.
As a queer womxn of color, I didn’t grow up with any of this knowledge and can’t speak enough as to how valuable Chaya and her services are to this community. She is well aware of how the needs of community and her clients may vary, and explains how to use her sliding scale options for her workshops and will encourage folx who have the financial ability to pay it forward to keep her services accessible. I think that on all levels she ticks the boxes. Support Chaya, she is truly a stellar human and an invaluable resource for the community.Kristy Kim
I am a 61 yo femme who knows crap about cars. After my former partner died I bought a new car and looked at the 1,000 page manual and felt completely overwhelmed. Even though I have a mechanic that I trust, I didn’t follow the recommendations of mile checks. After taking this class, I totally understand the why’s and wherefores of the maintenance of my car and this class gave me the confidence to now be able to change my own filters and take my car in and know what to ask! This was the best investment ever!
I recently got into a car accident and my brain was super rattled. Chaya gave me really sound advice regarding the insurance process and referred me to a quality body shop.
I am super new to car ownership and Chaya’s class gave me a solid foundation to work with. I’m incredibly grateful for her deep wealth of car smarts and wisdom. Jordan
