Knowing when saying no to a service is not going to cause damage to your car and knowing when something should be taken care of.
When are the classes held?
Classes start at 9:00pm EST on the class dates. I go live and discuss and teach. You'll be able to ask questions live. Miss something? No worries. Classes are recorded so you can go back and re-watch them afterwards.
Where are the classes held?
Classes take place online in a private Facebook group. We meet via Facebook Live so you have the opportunity to ask questions during class, leave comments and re-watch once the class has finished.
How much do these classes cost?
Classes are held on a sliding scale payable via PayPal. This is an effort to accommodate a range of budgets. Every class has it's own rate, click on the class for details. Pick a price in this range that works for you. Choose a higher rate if you can allows me to continue offering lower rates.
When will the next class be taught?
Most classes are taught every 4-6 months but there’s no guarantee that a class you see right now will be taught again.
Can I get a refund for a class I purchased?
Due to limited space, there are no refunds for any virtual classes. If you email before the class that you will not be attending, your seat will be donated to a low-income person of color or person with a disability.
Are you responsible for car purchases I make, or maintenance I do?
Please note that while I do provide personalized services designed to advise you on automotive topics and products, I am not liable for any defective cars and/or parts received as well as any negative experiences during this process with third-party individuals.
I offer you a road-map for your options and what’s available to you. Knowledge is power but you are ultimately responsible for your choices. By purchasing access to a class, you are absolving all instructors and Mechanic Shop Femme of any liability for repairs, maintenance, or vehicle failure based on advice provided.
